Chhattisgarh: BJP MLA Domanlal Korsewada dies in Hyderabad, CM Sai expresses grief

Raipur, Oct 30 (UNI) Chhattisgarh BJP MLA Domanlal Korsewada died while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad today.
His body will be brought to Raipur by air on Saturday, before being taken to his native village of Bhendra in Gunderdehi tehsil of Balod district for the last rites.
The body is scheduled to arrive at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur at 8.30 am. After remaining there until 9.30 am for people to pay their respects, it will be taken to his government residence in Bhilai-3, where the public will be able to pay their last respects until 11 am.
From Bhilai-3, the body will be taken to Jawahar Nagar in Durg, at 11.30 am. The homage programme at the location will continue until 12.30 pm. The body is expected to reach Bhendra village at 1 pm. The funeral will be held at 2 pm.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed grief over Korsewada's death, saying the news had come as a shock. In a post on X, Sai remembered the MLA for his simplicity, concern for people's problems and unwavering commitment to the organisation.
He said that Korsewada remained closely connected with the people of his constituency and stood by them through their joys and hardships. His contribution would be remembered, the Chief Minister added.
Sai prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family and those close to him.
