Comprehensive Coconut Development Project to improve production

Kochi, June 21 (UNI) Applications are invited for the Comprehensive Coconut Development Project implemented by the Coconut Development Board on a cluster basis with farmer participation to improve the production, yield, productivity and productivity of existing coconut trees.

This project is being implemented on a cluster basis for a period of 2 years to improve the production and productivity of coconut cultivation through coordination of scientific care methods and to increase the total income from the farms through suitable intercropping.

Interested farmer groups may fill in the application form in the prescribed format and submit it along with the required documents to the Coconut Development Board's headquarters in Kochi before July 10, 2025, by 5 pm, either in person or by post.

Existing or newly formed Coconut Farmers Clusters (CFCs) can submit the applications directly, and agricultural research institutions like Krishi Bhavans, ICAR/KAU/KVKs, Farmers Producers' Groups (CPFs) and Coconut Producers' Companies (CPCs) with active registration with the Coconut Development Board can submit applications to work as Facilitating Agencies for the implementation of this scheme in the existing or newly formed Coconut Clusters, subject to the terms and conditions of the Coconut Development Board.
