Congress steps up preparations for ‘Save Vote, Save Country’ rally

Patna, Oct 26 (UNI) The Congress has intensified preparations for the ‘Vote Bachao–Desh Bachao’ (Save Vote, Save Country) mega rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on November 1.
As part of the preparations, an organisational meeting was held here on Monday where detailed discussions were held on ensuring maximum participation of party workers from Patna and making the necessary arrangements for the rally.
Congress observer and former MP R C Khuntia addressed district office-bearers, block presidents and party workers, stressing the need to activate and strengthen the organisation.
The meeting was chaired by Patna Metropolitan Congress Committee president Kumar Ashish.
The meeting reviewed participation in the rally, estimated attendance, transportation and travel arrangements, coordination among party workers, and the responsibilities of office-bearers. Block presidents were also asked to provide updates on preparations.
