Congress to take 'Vote Bachao–Desh Bachao' campaign to villages, homes across Haryana

Panchkula, Nov 4 (UNI) The Congress will launch a statewide 'Vote Bachao–Desh Bachao' public outreach campaign from November 4 to 25, reaching villages and households to raise awareness about electoral transparency, protection of voting rights and democratic institutions.
Addressing a joint press conference at a 'Vote Bachao–Desh Bachao' chaupal in Panchkula, campaign district in-charge Shamsher Singh Gogi said the initiative, being undertaken on the directions of the All India Congress Committee, aims to turn the campaign into a people's movement.
Panchkula MLA Chander Mohan, former Kalka MLA Pradeep Chaudhary, District Congress president Sanjay Chauhan and former Haryana Mahila Congress president Sudha Bhardwaj also attended the press conference.
The leaders said safeguarding democracy was a collective responsibility and stressed the need to protect every citizen's right to vote and ensure transparency in the electoral process. They urged party workers to reach every village and booth to make people aware of the importance of their vote.
Gogi said the campaign would involve direct interaction with people across the state, with the Congress continuing its efforts to strengthen democratic rights and institutions.
