HP: Three killed as speeding car collides with truck on Yamuna Kulhal bridge

Nahan, Oct 4 (UNI) A horrific road accident occurred on the Yamuna Kulhal bridge over the Yamuna River, connecting Himachal and Uttarakhand, when a speeding car traveling towards Paonta Sahib collided with a truck.
Due to this incident on Saturday night, the car was severely damaged, killing three young men who were present inside the vehicle at the spot, leaving a severe impact.
Upon receiving information about the accident, a Paonta Sahib police team arrived at the scene. With the help of local residents, the young men trapped in the car were extricated and taken to the hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
Following the accident, there was chaos on the bridge for some time.
The deceased were identified as 32-year-old Tarsem Singh, son of Attar Singh, resident of Shillai, Sirmaur district; 37-year-old Amit Kumar, son of Mahakar Singh, resident of Shanti Nagar, Bhopa Road, New Mandi, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh; and Sonu, son of Vedpal Singh, resident of Nagla Hukam Singh, Greater Noida, Delhi.
According to the police, after post-mortem examination of the three bodies at Civil Hospital, Paonta Sahib, on Sunday, they will be handed over to the families for cremation.
Police have registered a case under various sections and have begun investigating the cause of the accident. Further investigation of the truck involved in the accident is.
Superintendent of Police, Sirmaur district, Nischint Singh Negi, has confirmed that three people have died in the accident on the Yamuna Kulhal Bridge.
