Dharamshala, Oct 18 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh School Education Board (HPBOSE) has announced the fourth round of counselling for admission to the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course for the 2026-28 session, offering another opportunity to aspiring teachers to secure admission against 719 vacant seats in private recognised institutions across the state.

HPBOSE Chairman Dr Rajesh Sharma said seat allotment would be carried out strictly on the basis of merit in the D.El.Ed. Common Entrance Test (CET)-2026 and the availability of seats in the institutions concerned.
The board has uploaded the date-wise list of shortlisted candidates along with details of vacant seats reserved under various categories. Candidates have been advised to decide their preferred institutions in advance, as allotment will depend on seat availability at the time of counselling.

They are also required to produce original academic certificates, a Bonafide Himachali certificate, relevant category certificates and necessary affidavits, along with attested photocopies of all documents.
Dr Sharma said candidates belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and wards of ex-servicemen must submit certificates or affidavits issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format.
