Joda melas will be held on the memorials of martyrs of the Indo-China war

Kaithal, Oct 18 (UNI) Courtesy of Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association Kaithal, Joda Melas will be organised at the memorials of the martyrs who died in the 1962 Indo-China war in district Kaithal.
Association President Jagjit Fauji said that on the Martyrdom Day, October 20, at 9:30 am, a Joda Mela will be organised at the memorial of Amar Shaheed Sepoy Mithiya of 5th Jat Regiment on the day of Vijayadashami at Government Senior Secondary School Bhana.
On October 21, at 9:30 am, Joda Mela will be organised at the memorials of two Amar Shaheeds of 2nd Rajput Regiment, Sepoy Jile Singh of Government Primary School Kyodak and at 10:30 am, Amar Shaheed Baldev Singh of Government Middle School Malikpur.
On October 22, at 9:30 am, Martyrdom Day of Amar Shaheed Sepoy Sarju of 1st Sikh Regiment 4th Mechanized Infantry will be celebrated at Government Senior Secondary School Mundri.
The Martyrdom Day of Amar Shaheed Assistant Commandant Vikas Bhardwaj of 81 BSF Battalion, who sacrificed his life in a terrorist encounter, will be celebrated in the Government Senior Secondary School in his village Barot on 27th October at 9:30 am.
The Martyrdom Day of Amar Shaheed Lance Naik Krishna Kumar of 16 Raj Rifle Regiment, who was martyred in terrorism, will be celebrated in the premises of Government High School Taragarh on 29th October at 9:30 am.
Pradhan requested all the martyr families, dignitaries of the village, school staff, students and all the ex-servicemen of the vicinity to reach at the given time and pay tribute to their martyrs and increase the respect of the martyrs and their families.
