ICG arrests 3 Sri Lankans for trying to enter India illegally

Chennai, June 28 (UNI) The Indian Coast Guard today apprehended three Sri Lankan nationals for trying to enter into India illegally.
The Coast Guard Hovercraft ACV H197 sighted a group of three persons at the 4th Island at about 0800 hrs today while being on routine surveillance.
The ACV swiftly moved and apprehended them, Defence sources said.
The interrogation established that all three personnel are Sri Lankan nationals attempting at illegal migration from Mannar.
The Sri Lankan nationals were brought to Mandapam and handed over to the state Marine Police for further investigation.
