Thane, June 14 (UNI) A major fire broke out at a chemical godown in Bhiwandi taluka of the district on Saturday.
The fire broke out at Pritesh Complex in Valpada of Bhiwandi taluka.
Fire engines and water tanker reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
It is reported that huge stock of chemicals worth lakh of rupees were stored in the godown, which were gutted in the fire.
The cause of fire has yet to be ascertained.
