Maha Revenue Minister Chandrashekar Bawankule praises farmers' hospitality amid severe drought

Mumbai, Oct 5 (UNI) Amid the severe drought gripping Maharashtra and the hardship faced by farmers, Revenue Minister Chandrashekar Bawankule highlighted their resilience and traditional hospitality, recalling how drought-hit farmers shared their simple meals of bhakri, zunka and thecha with him during his field visits.
Addressing a press conference, the Revenue Minister outlined critical government measures to combat the crisis while reflecting on the deeply humbling experience of eating alongside farmers in the field.
To tackle the acute fodder shortage plaguing livestock in drought-hit regions, the state has announced a novel initiative.
