MLA Rohit Pawar politicising students' grievances for entry into Congress: Gopichand Padalkar

Kolhapur, Oct 7 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Gopichand Padalkar has accused Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SP) MLA Rohit Pawar of politicising the students' grievances for "his personal entry into the Congress".
Talking to reporters, Padalkar slammed Pawar over the MPSC protest agitation.
Regarding the ongoing MPSC agitation, he said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had already held a positive three-hour meeting with a student delegation and addressed their legitimate concerns.
Padalkar claimed that continuing the protests is an aggressive push for political credit rather than student welfare.
He also praised Vivek Patil, a student representative from Kolhapur, for genuinely bringing forward structural student issues without a political agenda.
On corruption of Balu Mama temple trust of Aadmapur of the district, he stated that those involved in the alleged Rs 60 crore financial irregularities within the Aadmapur Balu Mama Temple Trust, will face severe consequences.
He declared that the state government will not tolerate corrupt activities and noted that even if the accused are currently hiding, the police will track them down.
He advocated for a new law to restructure the Balu Mama Temple's governance on par with the Karveer Nivasini Mahalakshmi Temple to ensure transparent administration.
