Modi Bday eve: National and International women athletes celebrate in UP's Kashi

Varanasi, Sep 16 (UNI) On the eve of Prime Minister and Varanasi MP Narendra Modi's 77th birthday, a unique gathering of sporting talent was witnessed at the Parmanandpur Mini Stadium on Wednesday.
Over 1,000 female athletes, along with students from Vikas Inter College, Parmanandpur, enthusiastically participated in the event.
International handball players Naina Yadav, Komal, and Suman Yadav, along with several other national-level athletes, participated in the event. The presence of a large number of female athletes created a festive atmosphere in the mini stadium. From the playing field to the venue, women athletes enthusiastically participated in various activities.
At the conclusion of the event, the girls posed for photographs and took selfies with a giant cutout of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They then shared the joy of the Prime Minister's birthday by sharing sweets with each other.
Dr A K Singh, coordinator of the event, President of Hockey Varanasi and Chairman of Vikas Educational Group, said that since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, many efforts have been made to promote sports in the country. This has provided new opportunities for athletes to advance and has encouraged sporting talent.
He stated that the increasing participation of girls in sports is a positive sign for the country. The participation of female students alongside athletes who have made a name for themselves at the national and international level will inspire a new generation to take up sports.
The participation of women students and athletes was a major attraction of the event. Organised with sports and young talent at the centre, the programme prominently highlighted the enthusiasm of girls and their growing interest in sports.
