Tripura CM applauds quality education measures of his government

Agartala, Sept 27 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday applauded the success of the Tripura government in narrowing the gap in educational quality between urban and rural areas.
He attributed this achievement to the implementation of corrective measures, advancements in technology, and improvements in school infrastructure. A substantial allocation of Rs 1,178 crore has been made to enhance the infrastructure of 213 schools in the state, with a focus on extending educational opportunities to underprivileged regions through modern technology.
On the birth anniversary of Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, a notable educationist and social reformer, Dr. Saha emphasized his government's commitment to providing value-based education for all.
He also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's consistent support for preserving traditional values alongside modern advancements, as reflected in the National Education Policy. Dr Saha urged teachers to transform schools into centers for nurturing talent, emphasizing the importance of their role in this endeavor.
Further, the Chief Minister discussed various initiatives undertaken by the state government to enhance the educational framework, including the phased deployment of the required number of teachers and support staff to all schools.
