Raju Bista appointed BJP in-charge for Sikkim

Siliguri, Sep 23 (UNI) Darjeeling BJP MP Raju Bista was appointed as the BJP’s state in-charge for Sikkim on Wednesday.
Reacting to his appointment, Bista expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Nitin Nabin and the senior leadership of the party for reposing their trust in him and entrusting him with the responsibility.
“I accept this responsibility with due humility and a deep sense of honour. For me, in addition to this being an organisational assignment, it is also an opportunity to serve the party, our karyakartas, the people of Sikkim, and improve coordination with the NDA Alliance partners,” Bista said in a statement.
