Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam unveil audio of 'Thug Life'

Chennai, May 25 (UNI) The audio launch of "Thug Life", the upcoming cinematic extravaganza helmed by iconic filmmaker Mani Ratnam and headlined by the legendary Kamal Haasan, took place in a grand ceremony at Sri Sairam Engineering College in city.

Oscar winning composer A R Rahman added glamour to the evening with a soulful live performance of 'Anju Vanna Poove', a poignant melody from the soundtrack. His rendition left the audience spellbound. Joining the festivities were a constellation of stars, Silambarasan T R, Trisha Krishnan, Ali Fazal, Joju George, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan and Sanjana Krishnamurthy. Also gracing the event was Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar, who appeared as the evening's special guest of honour, lending star power to an already illustrious gathering.

While the stage witnessed grandeur, the digital realm was no less abuzz. Two already released tracks of the film - "Jinguchaa" and "Sugar Baby" - are trending on social media with fans grooving to their tunes, raising expectations from the full album.

Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies. The music of the film is composed by legendary musician A R Rahman.

The film, Thug Life, will feature actors from Malayalam, Hindi and Telugu cinema, making it one of the most ambitious multi-starrer films of Indian cinema.

Produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran and Shiva Anant, Thug Life stars Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan T R, Trisha, Nasser, Abhirami, Joju George, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ali Fazal, Vaiyapuri and others in lead roles.

It is set for worldwide release on June five.
