Haryana Police order crackdown on illegal activities at Gurugram spas, massage centres

Panchkula, Sep 24 (UNI) Haryana Police have ordered regular checks and surprise inspections of spa and massage centres across Gurugram, warning that illegal activities under the cover of such establishments will not be tolerated and police officers could face departmental action for lax enforcement, a police spokesperson said here on Thursday.
The police spokesperson said Gurugram Commissioner of Police Sibash Kabiraj has issued written directions to all Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to maintain strict surveillance over spa and massage centres operating in their respective jurisdictions.
Under the directions, SHOs will conduct regular checks of spa and massage centres in their police station areas to ensure that no illegal activity is being carried out on the premises, the spokesperson said.
