UP: MP Chandrashekhar Azad alleges assassination plot, urges govt to probe

Lucknow, Sep 16 (UNI) Bhim Army chief and Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) president and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad has alleged that a conspiracy is being hatched to assassinate him and urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
In a video message, Azad claimed that a plan to kill him has been discussed at a farmhouse. He said he is not making the allegation without information and called for an impartial probe to establish the facts.
“Death is inevitable one day and one cannot live in fear. I will not back down out of fear,” Azad said. He added that if he comes to power, criminals would be dealt with firmly.
The Nagina MP also urged the government to investigate the recent incident in Barabanki, where he was heckled.
Azad said the alleged assassination plot and the Barabanki incident should be thoroughly investigated to determine what actually happened and to bring the facts before the public.
In his video, he expressed serious concerns about the alleged murder plot and appealed to the government to conduct an impartial investigation to bring out the truth.UNI MBD ATP AAB
