Maha: Youth injured in assault during Ganesh immersion procession in Bhiwandi

Mumbai, Sep 26 (UNI) A youth was injured after he was allegedly assaulted during a Ganesh visarjan procession at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk in Bhiwandi of neighbouring Thane district, police said today.
The incident took place on Friday under the jurisdiction of Nizampur police station.
The injured youth, identified as Rishikesh Jitendra Vagal, a worker of Ajay Nagar Mitra Mandal, suffered an injury to his nose.
