Seize Aaditya Thackeray’s passport as he may flee country to avoid arrest, says Nitesh Rane

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and Maharashtra Ports Development Minister Nitesh Rane today stated that Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena MLA Aaditya Thackeray’s passport must be seized by the Home department immediately because Aaditya has booked flight tickets to flee the country, in order to avoid arrest in the celebrity manager Disha Salian death case.
“Aaditya Thackeray and (actor) Dino Morea are mentioned in the First Information Report of the Disha Salian case. Since the investigation is proceeding quickly, the sword of arrest is about to fall on Aaditya Thackeray. I have definite information that his flight tickets are booked and he may flee the country at any time. Therefore, the Home Department must immediately seize his passport and issue a Lookout notice against Aaditya Thacikeray,” he said.
Rane alleged that with the investigations into the Disha Salian case and the Mithi River scam “tightening”, due to which Aaditya Thackeray may attempt to flee the country.
“Since the noose is tightening, Aaditya Thackeray may flee abroad at any time due to fear of arrest. Therefore, the government should immediately seize his passport and issue a Lookout notice against him,” he stated.
The BJP leader specifically mentioned the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) investigation involving actor Dino Morea in connection with the Mithi River scam.
Rane alleged that actor Dino Morea is “a member of a notorious nightlife gang in Mumbai and has direct links to Aaditya Thackeray”.
During the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Uddhav Thackeray, Rane had claimed that actor Dino Morea is “considered a contract swindler”.
Referring to the Disha Salian case, Rane asserted that both Aaditya Thackeray and Dino Morea are named in the FIR. "Now, as the wheels of investigation are turning rapidly, the sword of arrest has fallen on Aaditya Thackeray," he warned.
So far, no official response or clarifications have been received from Aaditya Thackeray or the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) regarding the allegations made by senior BJP leader and Maharashtra Ports Development Minister Nitesh Rane.
Reacting to the the successful protest by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) against Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar at Shivaji Park in Dadar West, Mumbai, on Friday, Nitesh Rane said, “Yesterday, a protest was called at Shivaji Park, but in reality, posters supporting the traitor Umar Khalid, who is trying to divide the country, were displayed there, as if he is some great freedom fighter.”
“On the CJP platform the brand ambassadors of the 'Tukde-Tukde Gang' like Shabana Azmi, Naseeruddin Shah and Vishal Dadlani were seen hugging ech other. There was open support for those who spoke of 'Sar Tan Se Juda'. The Thackeray brothers have prostrated before the feets jihadis at the same Shivaji Park where Balasaheb Thackeray once roared about Hindutva. Those who bow before Umar Khalid should remove the 'Thackeray' surname after their names and change it to 'Wakade'. The public will never forgive such an anti-national stand,” he said.

Rane asked that if voters’ list was manipulated, why did the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and the Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena did not raise any objections earlier.
“If there is a mess in the voter list and the Election Commission is wrong, then how did Aaditya Thackeray get elected from Worli assembly constituency? How did Supriya Sule of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP get elected from Baramati? Wasn't there a mess in the voter list then,” he said.
“The names of bogus voters, Rohingyas and infiltrators from Bangladesh are being excluded through the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). So do they want to keep these people in the voter list to make India an Islamic nation by 2047? Only those who won elections on the strength of vote jihad are upset by the Election Commission’s SIR process,” senior BJP leader added.
