Three dead, one seriously injured as dumper truck crushes them in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 14 (UNI) In a major accident in the Govandi Shivaji Nagar area of suburban Mumbai, three youngsters were killed while one person was seriously injured after being run over by a dumper truck on Saturday evening, officials said.
According to reports, the three youths died on the spot, while one person sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
Following the accident, a large crowd of angry citizens surrounded the police at the scene.
In response to the incident, the public blocked the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road, leading to a heavy traffic jam on both sides.
Mumbai police traffic website confirmed the slow movement of traffic due to the accident.
