Conditions favourable for further advancement of Southwest monsoon

Pune, June 12 (UNI) Conditions are favourable for further advancement of Southwest monsoon over some more parts of Central and adjoining east India (including some more parts of Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha) during next 48 hours.

Day temperatures were markedly above normal ( > 5.1°C) at many places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad; at most places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Assam and Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh; at isolated places over Sub Himalayan
