Nishant Kumar Appointed SDM Pragpur, CM’s January Announcement Implemented

Dharamshala, Sep 23 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed Nishant Kumar as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil), Pragpur in Kangra district, giving effect to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu’s announcement to open an SDM office there.
The Chief Minister had announced the opening of the SDM office at Pragpur during the 56th Statehood Day celebrations held there on January 25.
According to a notification issued by the Personnel Department on Wednesday, Nishant Kumar has been appointed as SDM (Civil), Pragpur.
The appointment is expected to strengthen sub-divisional level administration in the area and provide residents easier access to administrative services and grievance redressal. It will also facilitate better coordination of development works in the region. UNI AR CDS
