People at centre of Praja Palana: Telangana Dy CM Bhatti

Hyderabad, Sept 16 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday said the government was implementing Praja Palana (people-centric governance) in accordance with the aspirations of the people and was committed to their welfare and security.
In a message on the occasion of Praja Palana Day, Bhatti said the initiative, inspired by the spirit of the Telangana movement, aimed at taking governance to the doorstep of people, listening to their problems and taking decisions based on their needs.
He said the objectives of Praja Palana included supporting farmers, creating employment opportunities for youth, ensuring the safety and empowerment of women, providing confidence and security to employees and improving the lives of the poor.
Bhatti said Praja Palana would attain its true meaning only when every village progressed on the path of development.
He said the aspirations of the people of Telangana were the foundation of Praja Palana and their welfare remained its ultimate objective.
The Deputy Chief Minister called upon people to work together towards building a Telangana where citizens remain at the centre of governance.
