PM Modi's visit to Bihar, a failed political tour: Congress

Patna, May 30 (UNI) Congress on Friday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to Bihar as his failed political tour.
President of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee(BPCC) Rajesh Ram said here that PM Modi was losing his charisma as people of Bihar had rejected him during his two-day visit to the state. It was a failed political tour of Modi, he remarked.
" On day one of his visit to Bihar, PM Modi had held roadshow in Patna but he did not get any response from the people ", Ram said adding that PM Modi during day two of his visit, laid foundation stones of several projects which were old and found stones for them were laid earlier as well. Modi had announced one particular project on several occasions, he pointed out.
" People had not gathered in the public meeting of PM at Bikramganj as they were fed up with him for politicising operation Sindoor ", the Congress leader said, adding that valour displayed by the Armed forces during operation Sindoor was compromised by Modi under pressure from the US, by announcing a ceasefire. People of Bihar would no longer accept the lies being spread by the PM and the BJP, he further added.
" PM Modi will get no response from any part of Bihar if he visits again", Ram said, adding that the Shahabad region of Bihar had rejected the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Saffron party would meet the same fate in Shahabad region and other parts of Bihar during the next state assembly elections, he stated.
