Rahul Gandhi, Oppn leaders toolkits of forces seeking to destabilise country: Nitin Nabin

Patna, Oct 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin today targeted Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, alleging that Gandhi and leaders of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) had become toolkits of forces seeking to destabilise the country.
Nabin said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India was continuing on the path of development despite global crises.
He claimed that while the country''s 1.4 billion citizens were working towards the goal of making India a developed nation, certain elements were unable to accept this progress. He alleged that these forces were attempting to undermine India''s long-term development vision.
Challenging Rahul Gandhi in Bihar, the BJP president said that the people of the country would never allow his alleged intentions to succeed.
Nabin also criticised opposition leaders for repeatedly accusing the Election Commission of vote theft, describing the allegations as baseless
Referring to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, he said the opposition had raised questions about the SIR report published in September 2025. He maintained that even after the report''s publication, a three-tier mechanism had been put in place to facilitate corrections.
Nabin argued that electoral reforms were necessary from time to time and that the revision process was part of that exercise.
Referring to PM Modi''s electoral mandate, Nabin said Modi was a prime minister elected by the people. He claimed that previous prime ministers had first assumed office and subsequently approached voters, whereas Modi had campaigned before the public as his party''s prime ministerial candidate, secured a full majority and then became prime minister.
The BJP president said Modi was working for the people with a spirit of service. He reiterated that while the world was facing global crises, India was continuing to make progress.
Nabin further questioned the opposition''s political approach, asserting that public trust and the people''s mandate were paramount in a democracy. He alleged that instead of acknowledging the country''s development achievements, opposition parties were questioning government policies and attempting to create confusion.
