Schemes for welfare of poor & farmers true tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay: Brajesh Pathak

Mathura, Oct 8 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak today said that extending the benefits of public welfare schemes to the poor, farmers, youth, and the last person in society is the true tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
He clarified that the ideology of Integral Human Philosophy and Antyodaya is the fundamental basis of all the government's policies and schemes.
Listing the achievements of health services, the Deputy CM, attending the annual fair held at Pandit Deendayal Dham here, said that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, eligible families are being provided free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh per year.
Referring to the expansion of medical colleges in the state, he said that according to the 2026-27 budget documents, there are currently 81 medical colleges operating in the state, of which 45 are government and 36 are private. He noted that the government's goal is to provide medical colleges to every district that currently lacks this facility.
Calling to stay away from negativity and move on the path of Antyodaya, Pathak further said that some elements in society are trying to create a negative environment, but the public should move forward by taking inspiration from Panditji's principles.
Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he stated that today millions of youth and women of the country are directly joining the mainstream of development.
The Deputy CM also expressed his gratitude to the devotees and citizens who came to the fair and expressed his resolve that efforts to spread the ideas of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to the masses and implement them on the ground will continue.
