Shraddha Dubey produced before Nagpur court in Shiva Sharma murder case

Nagpur, Oct 21 (UNI) Fashion model Shraddha Dubey, the prime accused in the alleged murder of Lucknow businessman and cafe owner Shiva Sharma, was produced on Wednesday before a court in Nagpur which granted transit remand for her to be taken to Lucknow for further investigation and legal proceedings.
She was arrested in Nagpur on Tuesday along with her sister Rashmi Dubey and driver Danish, in a joint operation by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) and Lucknow Police after an 11-day manhunt.
The trio had been absconding and carried a reward of Rs 50,000 each. They were traced and arrested following raids at multiple locations.
A murder case was registered at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on October 9 under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), following a complaint lodged by Sharma's mother, Ranjana Sharma.
The Lucknow Police had initially announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for information leading to their arrest, which was later increased to Rs 50,000 each.
Sharma's mother has sought swift justice in the case, even as Dubey has denied the allegations and claimed that Sharma died by suicide.

In a press conference held here this evening, Shetty, reaffirming the call to action from the highway blockade, urged farmers to keep their harvested sugarcane in their fields for an additional eight to 10 days rather than sending it to the mills.
