Technopark invites tenders for two lakh sqft prefabricated IT building at Phase III

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 4 (UNI) Technopark has invited e-tenders from reputed developers for the design and construction of a prefabricated IT office building with an approximate total built-up area of two lakh square feet at its Phase III campus here.
The project, to be executed on a design-and-build basis, includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the proposed prefabricated IT office building.
The bidder should be an Indian company, Limited Liability Partnership, partnership firm or proprietorship legally eligible to enter into contracts. The bidder should have at least seven years of continuous experience in building construction and a minimum of five years of experience in the design, fabrication and erection of prefabricated, PEB or steel-composite commercial, institutional, office, hotel, hospital or industrial buildings.
Bidders shortlisted at the first stage will be invited to present their project execution strategy before a Technical Evaluation Committee comprising internal representatives and external domain experts.
The contract period for the project is 15 months.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at Park Centre, Technopark Phase I, on October 23 at 1130 hours. The last date for submission of e-tenders is 1700 hours on November 12.
Technopark Phase III spans 90.02 acres and comprises both Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Domestic Tariff Zone (DTZ) areas. The campus has 540 companies, a workforce of around 84,000 professionals and 13.147 million square feet of IT built-up space.
Technopark, which has maintained a CRISIL A /Stable rating, is positioned as a mature and future-ready IT destination. Detailed tender information is available on the Technopark website.
