Telangana CM Revanth Reddy leaves for Goa to participate in Congress’s ‘Save Goa March’

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Sunday left for Goa to participate in the Congress-led ‘Goy Rakhonn Yatra’ (Save Goa March) scheduled to take place this evening.
During his visit, Revanth Reddy will participate in a foot march from the Chieftains’ Memorial to the Cuncolim bus stand and address a public meeting following the march.
He is scheduled to leave Goa for Delhi tonight.
The Goa Congress launched the 27-day march in Panaji on September 22, covering all 40 Assembly constituencies in the State. The yatra is scheduled to conclude on October 18.
The march aims to protect Goa’s land, environment, culture, heritage and local identity, while raising public awareness against the policies of the ruling BJP government, according to an official statement.
