Thunderstorm with lightning, gusty winds likely in Telangana in next 5 days: Met

Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed ranging from 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over the state during the next seven days.

Maximum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 3-5 degrees Celsius in Telangana during the next 3 days.

Rain occurred at one or two places over the state during the last 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nalgonda in Telangana, the report added.
