Two die in cracker godown blast

Chennai, May 18 (UNI) Two people were killed in a blast at an illegal cracker godown
at Neyveli Thenpathi near Pattukottai in Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Riyaz and Sundarraj.
Police and fire service personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to the
government hospital for autopsy.
Police sources said the godown was functioning without proper approval.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
