AP: Woman, her teenage daughter brutally murdered

Rajahmundry (Andhra), Mar 23 (UNI) A young woman and her teenage daughter were brutally stabbed to death in their house at Vambay colony in Hukumpeta here in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, police said.
It is learnt that an accused has been arrested.
Circle Inspector Kashi Vishwanath said MD Salma (38) and her daughter Sania (16) were found in a pool of blood in their house. After stabbing the mother and daughter, the culprit locked the door and fled.

Around 3 pm, one of the relatives of the deceased woman went to the house and knocked on the door. When he did not get any response from the house, he peeped into the window and found the two women in a pool of blood. He informed the matter to the police.

The police clue teams searched the house and surroundings for clues. The police said that a youth, who was allegedly in love with Sania, might be linked to the crime as he suspected that she was close to someone else.
It is learnt that the police have arrested the accused. UNI DP SSP
