TCS, Air New Zealand partner for AI-enabled transformation

Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Air New Zealand have announced a five-year partnership with an aim to improve the airline's digital infrastructure, support AI-enabled innovation and enhance efficiency.
The collaboration will enhance Air New Zealand's digital capabilities, improve the passenger experience and strengthen technical efficiencies. This includes key service areas such as fleet management, crew scheduling and ground services.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, Tata Group chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Air New Zealand CEO Greg Foran and TCS CEO K Kritivasan and others were present.
NZ PM Luxon said that the Tata Group has made a huge impact in India's development and industrial growth. New Zealand is keen to invest internationally, he said that he was keen to strengthen economic ties between the two countries, NZ and India.
Tata Group chairman Chandrasekaran said that the Indian economy is growing at a very fast pace. At the same time, there is a need for roads, rural facilities, warehouses, ports, facilities, airports, hospitals and schools. Income opportunities are increasing, and this growth will continue for a long time.
It will increase the trade between New Zealand and India and India will actively participate in it, he added.
