Telangana: CM extends greetings to Muslims on Ramzan

Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy extended warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Ramzan (Ramadan/Eid-ul-Fitr).
In his message, the Chief Minister wished that Muslim brothers and sisters celebrate the festival with their family members and friends in joy and harmony.
He emphasised that Ramzan stands as a symbol of secularism and religious unity, highlighting the significance of strict fasting, disciplined prayers, and acts of charity, including Zakat and Fitra, during the holy month.
He also noted that Ramzan holds special importance as it marks the revelation of the Quran, serving as a guiding light for humanity.
The Chief Minister reiterated that Telangana is known for its rich tradition of 'Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb', symbolizing communal harmony and cultural unity.
He affirmed that the People's Government remains committed to the empowerment of Muslim minorities, ensuring their welfare and progress.
Revanth Reddy wished for the prosperity of Telangana and hoped that people from all communities continue to live together in peace and happiness.
