120 agri-business students conferred degrees at MANAGE 9th convocation ceremony

Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) celebrated its 9th Convocation Ceremony today at its Rajendranagar campus, awarding Post Graduate Diplomas in Management (Agri-Business Management) [PGDM-ABM] to 120 students of the 2023–25 batch.

Dr P Vidyasagar Reddy, IPoS, Chief Postmaster General, Telangana Circle, graced the event as Chief Guest. He conferred degrees and presented gold, silver, and bronze medals to meritorious students.

In his convocation address, Dr Reddy encouraged graduates to aim for excellence, adopt emerging technologies like AI, and work towards enhancing agricultural productivity, farmers’ incomes, and rural employment. He also urged them to explore entrepreneurship and uphold values like integrity, humility, and gratitude.

Dr Sagar Hanuman Singh, IPoS, Director General of MANAGE, reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to academic excellence, highlighting its consistent 100 per cent placement record. He said MANAGE equips students with leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and empathy towards farmers, fostering holistic development in a supportive academic environment.

The ceremony was coordinated by Dr K Krishna Reddy, Head (SABM) and Director (ICT), who emphasised MANAGE’s position among India’s top agri-business schools over the past three decades.

Over 250 attendees, including students, parents, faculty, and staff, participated in the convocation, which concluded with the National Anthem.
