EKA Mobility opens first Hyderabad dealership for electric commercial vehicles

Hyderabad, Sept 17 (UNI) EKA Mobility on Thursday inaugurated its first dealership in Hyderabad in partnership with Sked Ride Pvt Ltd, expanding its sales, distribution and service network for electric commercial vehicles in Telangana.
The dealership will offer EKA Mobility's range of electric three-wheelers, buses and heavy-duty electric trucks.
The portfolio includes the EKA AVI 3W Cargo, AVI 3S and AVI 6S three-wheelers, EKA 7M, 9M, 12M, Coach and Low Floor electric buses, and the EKA 55T heavy-duty electric truck, the company said in a release.
The facility has been designed as an integrated 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) centre, providing vehicle sales, servicing, maintenance and genuine spare parts.
It will also be supported by trained technicians and EKA Mobility's AI-powered fleet management platform, EKA Connect.
EKA Mobility Business Head and Chief Growth Officer Rohit Srivastava said the Hyderabad dealership would bring the company's electric commercial vehicle portfolio closer to customers and strengthen its retail and after-sales network.
Sked Ride owner Kotta Prithvi Krishna Reddy said the partnership would cater to the growing logistics, passenger transportation and last-mile delivery sectors in Hyderabad and Telangana.
The company said it currently operates three manufacturing facilities, including its bus manufacturing plant at Koregaon Bhima and truck and small commercial vehicle facility at Chakan in Pune.
The company is also developing a 47-acre manufacturing facility at Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh. The facilities are expected to support an annual production capacity of 10,000 buses, 24,000 small commercial vehicles and 4,000 trucks.
