Govt land allocated for park and playground in Malegaon

Nashik, Oct 7 (UNI) The Maharashtra government has decided to allocate 0.57 hectares of government land at Soygaon within the Malegaon Municipal Corporation limits for the development of a park and playground.
The decision was taken by Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule following the directions of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The move will provide residents of Malegaon with dedicated space for recreation, sports and greenery.
The land is part of the 1.18-hectare government property bearing Gat No. 158. The allotted plot can be used only for the development of a park and playground, and the work must commence within three years of the land being handed over.
Revenue Minister Bawankule said the objective was to provide better public amenities, ensure that children have adequate space to play and increase green spaces in the city.
He added that the government’s priority is to ensure the proper use of available government land for public welfare.
