Right platform, encouragement can give direction to students' hidden talents: Goyal

Pune, Oct 7 (UNI) Khadki Education Society president Krishnakumar Goyal said Wednesday that the students' hidden talents can find a new direction when they receive the right platform and encouragement.
He was speakinf at the prize distribution ceremony of the Pimpri-Chinchwad divisional competitions of 'Jallosh 2026'.
The event was organised by the Student Development Board of Savitribai Phule Pune University at Tikaram Jagannath Arts, Commerce and Science College, with around 1,200 students from various colleges participating in the competitions.
Goyal said college life provides students with opportunities to develop their artistic and other talents. Competitions such as Jallosh help channel their energy and provide them with exposure, he added.
Not every student may get an opportunity to pursue these fields professionally in the future. However, such activities help students learn how to interact and engage with the wider world, Goyal said.
