Pending development works to be completed on priority: Indora MLA Rajan

Indora, Sep 21 (UNI) Indora MLA Malendra Rajan today directed officials to expedite all pending development works and public welfare matters in the constituency and ensure their time-bound completion.
Chairing a Sub-Divisional Planning, Development and 20-Point Programme Review Committee meeting at Government College Indora, Rajan reviewed the progress of various development schemes and works being implemented by different departments.
He sought details of pending projects, bottlenecks and implementation of government schemes, directing officials to resolve issues related to land, funds, technical approvals and departmental permissions through better inter-departmental coordination.
Rajan said delays in public works directly affected people and stressed that the benefits of approved schemes should reach eligible beneficiaries within the stipulated time.
The committee also reviewed the progress and achievements under the 20-Point Programme, with officials briefing members on targets and schemes being implemented by their respective departments.
He emphasised that reviews should focus not merely on figures but on ensuring that government schemes deliver tangible benefits on the ground, while maintaining quality and timely execution.
